2. M5stick-V AI Camera features its integration with machine vision capabilities, featuring the unprocessed acceptability to AI Visioning with high energy efficiency and low cost. We co-oped with Sipeed providing the MicroPython environment makes programming onM5stick-V easier. 
3.The module comes with the OmniVision OV7740 sensor, using the OmniPixel®3-HS technology, providing a best-in-class low light sensitivity, making it ideal for machine vision. In addition to an OV7740 sensor, M5stick-V features more hardware resources such as a speaker with built-in I2S Class-D DAC, IPS screen, 6-axle IMU, 200mAh Li-po battery, and more.

OK, I've played around with it for a few days. Able to get video and pictures. Able to figure out how to use the buttons to light LEDs, get battery voltage, etc. But honestly, I'm not sure it is worth the effort to learn this RISC based device when the rest of the M5Stack family appears to be ESP32 based. I really had to search to get exact syntax for use in the MaixPy IDE. I haven't figured out how to use the Grove port yet. Like why are the LED for red GPIO6 but for the other colors, like green, I have to use GPIOHS9? Or why are the pins on button a and button b, 36 and 37, but they are references as GPIO1 and GPIO2? I would have guessed, GPIOH36 and GPIOH37. There doesn't seem to be a complete cross-reference between the M5StickV pins and how they should be referenced in MaixPy. Or what all the board_info definitions are for this device. It is annoying that the microphone function doesn't work and there is no wifi. Also, it seems to want to restart when you turn if off. But for what documented functions I did find, it seems to work I may still try to use this to take a bunch of pictures when motion is detected (in my home office). But I bought a lot of M5Stack stuff that I need to get through and will be leaving MaixPy for now, and go back to UIFlow, Python, and Arduino IDE for the ESP32 stuff. I attached a picture of a kitty I took on the device. He was watching me while I was learning about this.

This is one of the better pieces of hardware that you can buy for robotics, machine learning and machine vision. It is composed by the right components at the right price and at de global, for me it is one of the better products that I bought ever. You can use it as any MCU supporting Areuino IDE, but with built-in LED,micro,speaker,display,battery,gyro,accelererometer , HD sound processor unit,an amazing and I repeat, amazing,robotics camera from Omnivision. If it is not enough,you are buying a computer vision camera, with exactly the same functions, software and even better hardware and performance than the original OpenMV cameras.You can follow lines, track colors, geometric forms....totally programmable in micropython. I Machine Learning (CNN), it has approximately the same or better performance than a RPi4, with mobilenet SSD and Yolo you can inference at 20-25fps and 320x240 and 30fps at 240x240. It is just amazing. In this area it use the support of Maix software, but it adds a service of AI training, that is only, amazing,easy to use and with a great result. The part that depend of StickV company, has better support that Maix. the camera has 3 buttons, 3mm screw hole to mount it, a nice plastic case , seriously, avoid Maix products by company support, form factor, built quality, it is rhe same but smaller, better quality, beter built, better and more components, just it is the most complete witget for makers.

A great tool for anyone interested on embeded AI but not worth the current price wait for the StickV+ which will include wifi & a working mic [Note microphone doesnt work ] OR wait for a price drop of under 15$
